Hey there! I'm Leila, an Amsterdam-based digital designer.
With 7+ years of industry experience in digital and visual design, I'm currently working as a Senior UI Designer at Backbase.
After jumping into the industry with my background in graphic design, I quickly discovered a knack for all things digital, and I've been pushing pixels ever since. What does that mean? I love digging into every little pixel of an interface, but can nerd out for hours over typography, color palettes, and grid systems — so I try to bring my inspiration from the latter into my passion for the former.
My daily activities in a nutshell include: UI design, prototyping, animation, building brand and design systems, working amongst cross-functional teams (developers, researchers, scrum masters, UI+UX designers), and bringing clients and stakeholders through every step of the process. On the side, I'm currently diving deeper into my interests in motion design and AI.
